Postgraduate / Professional Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H)


OBJECTIVES:
A multidisciplinary approach to tropical medicine and related public health issues in our ever changing world of disease emergencies and work patterns, focusing on Low and middle Income Countries (LMICs) educational needs in particular.
This program focuses broadly on issues of tropical health, travelers health and on clinical tropical medicine with emphasies on scientific basis for preventing, diagnosis, treating, and controlling tropical health problems. 

CURRICULUM:
*Selected tropical diseases and case studies shedding lights on diagnosis, treatment, and the implementation of preventive control measures.

*Diagnostic methodologies in today's world.

*Human behavior in relation to
transmission of infection and of local perceptions of the disease.

*Virtual laboratory sessions focusing on diagnostic methods for identification of blood, intestinal, and tissue parasites as well as their vectors.

*Virtual practical lab in parasitology and diagnosis.

COURSE DURATION: 
4 months.

COURSE FEE:
2,500 USD ( an additional fee of 100 USD is required for application process)

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
MBBS, BSN, B. Pharm and other health related degrees.

Mode of Instruction: Online (Machine Learning, Self-Paced).
