Definition(s):
Health Care Assistants, also known as nursing assistants, auxiliary nurses, or support workers, provide care to patients in hospitals or other medical settings. Assistants are under the direction of a qualified professional, and they work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
Program Goal(s):
The six weeks program provides knowledge and skills in patient care under supervision of a qualified professional.
Expected Capabilities and Skills:
The program gives you a hands on basic of cares.
Curriculum:
- DEFINITIONS
-INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL (IPC)
- PPE and COVID -19
- 10 RESPONSIBILITIES of an HCA
-VIOLENCE AND AGGRESSION
-FOOD HYGIENE .
COURSE DURATION:
6 weeks.
COURSE FEE: 25 USD
COURSE REQUIREMENT(S):
Open to all.
Mode of Instruction: Online (Machine Learning, Self-Paced).
INTENDED AUDIENCE:
Open to all.
REGISTRATION: HCA / Auxiliary Nurse
Certification: A digital certificate is obtainable upon achievement of 80% overall.
